Cancel or Reschedule Policy

For all clients : Cancellations or Reschedules with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the full price of their appointment.

Same day no-shows will be charged full price.

Deposits are non-refundable.

If you must reschedule, please give us a minimum of 72 hours’ notice so that your deposit can be applied to your rescheduled date. We kindly request a full week’s notice if possible. Please text to reschedule : 443-228-8617

Less than 72 hours’ notice: you will need to make a new deposit online and your first deposit is no longer applied toward services in the future.

Less than 24 hours’ notice: you will be charged 50% of the appointment balance, you will need to make a new deposit online and your first deposit is no longer applied toward services in the future.

Appointments, including touchups, may be rescheduled once with +72 hours notice given. If another reschedule is requested then there is a $75 reschedule fee.

Clients who do not follow the Pre-Care instructions will be sent home if their skin is not properly prepared for Permanent Makeup. Deposits are non-refundable and will not apply toward a future date. A new, full deposit will be made in order to re-schedule.


Late Policies

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment.

LATE POLICY

If you are late by 10 minutes for your appointment, then you will be charged the $75 Late Fee.

If you are late by 15 minutes for your appointment, your appointment is cancelled, and you will be charged 100% of the remaining balance.


Day of Policies

I’ll be emailing you an appointment confirmation containing a link to the consent form. Please keep an eye on your inbox for these emails. You must fill it out within 24 hours of your appointment time. Please do not come inside until you have filled this form out on your phone.

Then you may text me at 443-228-8617. I will call/text you back when it is safe to come up.

Please remember : 

1. You must wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose, and it must not use a release valve. Neck gaiters must be a minimum of 2 layers. A disposable surgical mask may be provided at no cost should you need it, but you may not enter the building or the office without an appropriate mouth and nose covering. My suggestions is a disposable mask as permanent cosmetic ink can and will stain fabric.

2. No guests, including children or partners. Absolutely no pets. Please contact me to discuss service animals and their needs.

3. No food or drink in the office.

4. A dark colored sweater is recommended as well as temperatures fluctuate. Do not wear white or light colored clothing. I don’t recommend wearing short shorts or short skirts as you will be laying back in the chair with your legs propped up during the procedure.

5. Please do not remove your mask inside the office unless required to do so.

6. There is no Face Timing or Texting or Phone Calls while we are working together. You must have faith and trust in your artist’s skills and abilities, otherwise this relationship will not work.

For Eyebrow Clients : You should wear your eyebrow makeup how you prefer to wear it every day. It is ok if you aren't sure exactly how or what color, but I want to see what you are comfortable with every day. I will be removing it before we begin drawing the desired shape. Please avoid wearing all other makeup. See the FAQ page for skincare treatments and products to avoid in advance. Caffeine intake 24 hours prior to services DOES make clients more sensitive. NO TANNING or SUNBURNS for 3 weeks prior to each appointment.

For Eyeliner Clients : Please do not wear ANY eye makeup, including concealer, powder, or foundation around the eyes. No Lash Extensions. Bring photos instead please. No contacts. No eyelash growth serum use for 4-6 months or else you risk damage and migration.

For Permanent Lipcolor clients : Please do not wear any lipstick. If you have EVER gotten a cold sore or a fever blister, you need to have been on anti-viral meds for 3 days before your appointment and using lip balm every few hours for at least 2 days in advance.

For Lash Lift and Tint Clients : No waterproof mascara for 48 hours prior. No contacts the day of. Please do not wear any eye makeup AT ALL and do not use an oil based makeup remover the night before or the morning of your appointment.

Please feel free to bring photos of times when you have done your makeup in a way that you really liked.


Touchup Policy

Brows, Eyeliner, Lips - the first two sessions are included in the listed price IF the second session is completed 6-10 weeks after the first session.

10 weeks plus 1 day after the first appointment means the complimentary touchup no longer applies and clients will pay the $275 touchup price. This applies even if client reschedules touchup and the only appointment available is at 10 weeks and 1 day.

The same cancellation and reschedule rules above apply to touchups. If a touchup is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 72 hours notice, a $175 reschedule fee will apply.

However, some clients (approx 10%) will desire a 3rd appointment session in the first year. This can be due to skin type, sun damage, pre-existing Microblading or discolored older tattoo brows, skincare containing Retinols or active anti-aging ingredients, sessions too close to the COVID-19 Vaccination (yes that’s really a thing we encountered), medications being taken, and/or underlying health conditions we may or may not know about. We honestly cannot predict who will need or want a 3rd session.

If you need or want a 3rd session in the first year, we can accommodate if our schedule allows.

Each extra session will be the $175 price. Once 12 months has passed since your first appointment, then you will be charged the current 12+ months annual touchup fee, which is subject to change.

It is the client’s duty to mention any desired adjustments at each session before they put down the mirror and begin the healing process. We do not do any touchups for 6 weeks once a client has confirmed the shape and color and has left the office after their appointment.

Touchup pricing only applies toward Haiku Ink initial clients. Please see below Correction Work Policy if you have ever had Microblading or any other Permanent Makeup procedures before, even if it has faded 100%.


Correction Work Policy

If you have ever had any work done by another artist, even if you feel it has faded enough, please Text me photos before you schedule anything. 443-228-8617

I require extremely clear photos from multiple angles in bright, clear sunlight and/or inside white lighting with no brow makeup on. The angles should be :

  1. Front head on, full face, no raising eyebrows or making expressions

  2. Slight side angle, full face from both sides

  3. Up close each brow extremely clear so we can tell the difference between any natural hair and any PMU

When you text me, include your full name, location, and your history of when you had them done, where you you had them done, and how many times you had them done. Once I receive the photos I will advise if I can proceed with a Correction Appointment, or if tattoo removal is necessary first.

Once you have been given the confirmation, you may schedule a video consultation. We will discuss expectations and timeline for your individual situation.

Correction appointments are a 2 session minimum, with an additional Correction Fee of +$250 for the first session. Correction cases often require 3-4 sessions total to achieve desired final results. Each session after the first 2 appointments is $175.

Not every case is possible to correct with simply adding more Permanent Makeup. Over 85% of the cases who reach out to me have been turned down because they must remove the current color that is still present in their skin. No one wants removal, but in most cases it is the only option before Haiku Ink can take them on as clients.

To Book

For Permanent Makeup : You will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire and then you will put down a deposit to book your date and time.

If you have any existing (or faded) permanent makeup, including Microblading or anything that was labeled “semi-permanent,” then you must text us photos and history (see above).

If you are interested in eyebrow, eyeliner, lip liner, small tattoo Removal (less than 1 inch x 1 inch) Li-FT saline service, then you must schedule a Free Video Consultation in advance. Please use the same link above.
